Yes — but only before the label prints. We process orders in 30-minute batches, so reach out within 30 minutes of checkout via the chat widget or support email with your order number and we'll catch it. Once shipped, we can't recall the package.

Almost always not. Carriers occasionally skip scans between regional hubs, especially over weekends. If your tracking has been stuck for 4+ business days with no movement, message us with your order number and we'll open a trace immediately and send a free replacement if the package is confirmed lost.

P.O. boxes: yes, via USPS only. Freight forwarders: technically yes, but we can't replace lost packages once they're scanned at the forwarder's domestic warehouse. Pick a residential or commercial street address if you can.

Yes. Every batch — not a sampling, not the first run, every batch — is independently tested at an ISO-17025 accredited third-party lab. Three assays come back: HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity confirmation, and bacterial endotoxin testing.

Certificates of Analysis ship inside every box and live online searchable by lot number — no login, no paywall. Type your lot into the COA finder, see the chromatograms.

It means that under reverse-phase HPLC at the assay conditions on the COA, the target peptide accounts for at least 99% of the total area under the chromatogram. The remaining <1% is residual synthesis byproducts — truncated sequences, deamidation products, scavenger residues — at trace levels.

Most consumer-facing peptide vendors publish 95–98% purity. Anything sold as "research grade" without a COA is, charitably, an unknown.

Every product page links to its current COA. Every box ships with a printed copy. And every lot number is searchable — paste the lot from your vial label, get the full report including chromatogram, mass spec, and endotoxin results.

We rotate between two ISO-17025 accredited contract labs in the US to avoid single-vendor risk: one in San Diego, CA, one in Cambridge, MA. The accreditation number and lab name appear on every COA.

Identity answers "is this molecule actually what the label says?" — confirmed by mass spectrometry matching the exact monoisotopic mass within ±0.5 Da of the theoretical value.

Purity answers "and how much of what's in the vial is the molecule?" — confirmed by HPLC area percentage.

You want both. A vial can be 99% pure of the wrong molecule. We publish both numbers on every COA.

Final synthesis, lyophilization, and packaging happen at our US facility. A handful of starting materials are sourced from European and Asian suppliers under quality agreements. The final product — what's in the vial you receive — is made in the USA.

Three reasons, usually combined: they're skipping batch testing, they're sourcing finished product from grey-market reshippers in Asia, or they're cutting the molecule with bulking agents. The cost difference between a 95%-pure peptide and a 99%-pure peptide is real, and it's almost entirely in the testing and the chemists.

If a price looks too good, ask for the COA. If they don't have one, you have your answer.

Lyophilized vials, stored at ≤ -20°C: 36 months from manufacture date. At 2–8°C (refrigerated): 24 months. The expiration on each label reflects accelerated stability data specific to the molecule, not a generic across-the-line policy.

Long-term (months): freezer at -20°C or colder, in original packaging.

Short-term (days–weeks): refrigerator at 2–8°C, away from light and humidity.

Avoid temperature cycling — repeated freeze-thaw is harder on lyophilized peptides than steady cold storage.

Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water and refrigerated at 2–8°C, most research peptides remain stable for 30 days. Some — particularly small repair peptides like BPC-157 — extend to 60 days. The product page lists the per-molecule reconstituted shelf life.

Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) for any peptide intended to sit reconstituted longer than 24 hours. Sterile water works for shorter-term work but offers no preservative.

Lyophilized peptides are robust to freezing — that's their resting state. A vial that freezes in transit during winter is not a quality issue. Reconstituted peptides are different: don't let reconstituted vials freeze, the freeze-thaw cycle damages the molecule.

Almost certainly not. Lyophilized peptides have very wide ambient stability — published data supports days at room temperature with no measurable degradation. Move it to your freezer and you're set. If you're worried, message us with your order number and we'll send a replacement.

Some — peptides containing tryptophan, tyrosine, or phenylalanine are mildly photosensitive. The amber-tinted vial caps and opaque packaging Element MD uses already mitigate this. The general rule: store cold, store dark, store dry. The original box covers all three.

It means the product is sold for laboratory and scientific research applications and is not approved by the FDA for human consumption, ingestion, injection, or therapeutic use. It is not a drug, supplement, or medical device. Buyers assume all responsibility for their use.

Because it's the truth and it's the law. The peptides we sell are research compounds — many are in active clinical trials, some are FDA-approved as drugs in different forms, but none of them in the form we sell are approved for human use. Saying so clearly and consistently is non-negotiable for us.

That depends entirely on what you're doing — which is a question we can't answer for you. We can confirm that selling research peptides for research use is legal in the US. What you do with them after they arrive is your responsibility, and we'd encourage you to consult an attorney if you're unsure.

No. We won't and we can't. Our research library contains primary scientific literature with reported assay parameters from published studies — that's the closest we get. For protocol design, work with a qualified patient or licensed clinician.

Some molecules in our catalog correspond to active pharmaceutical ingredients in FDA-approved drugs (e.g., semaglutide is the API in branded GLP-1 medications). Element MD's products are not those drugs — they aren't formulated, sterilized, dosed, or labeled for human pharmaceutical use, and they aren't subject to the same manufacturing controls. Treat them as research compounds, because that's what they are.

Sealed, unopened products: returnable within 30 days for full refund minus return shipping. Opened vials: not returnable, for sterility and chain-of-custody reasons.

If something arrived wrong, broken, or doesn't match the order — that's not a return, that's our problem to fix. Email us within 48 hours and we'll replace it free.

Send us a photo of the box and the broken vial within 48 hours of delivery and we'll ship a replacement free that same business day. No paperwork, no return label — just keep the broken vial out of the trash until we've confirmed.

Email us with your order number and photos of what arrived (including the inside of the box and the packing slip). Most missing-item claims resolve same-day with a replacement shipped on our dime.

Photo of the label and packing slip via email — we'll ship the correct vial overnight at no cost and email you a prepaid label to return the wrong one. We catch our mistakes seriously; this is the rarest case in our queue and we'd rather over-correct it.
