1. Our commitment
Element MD is committed to making this site accessible to people with disabilities. Accessibility isn't a checkbox for us — it's a quality bar. If you can't read our COA, you can't trust our peptide.
We benchmark against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the minimum bar and aim for AAA on critical flows: account login, checkout, the COA lookup, and the dosing calculator.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML — proper heading order, real form labels, real button elements;
- Color contrast — all body text passes 4.5:1, all UI text passes 3:1, verified with automated tooling on every deploy;
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable by Tab; focus indicators are visible and high-contrast;
- Screen reader testing — quarterly testing with NVDA (Firefox/Chrome) and VoiceOver (Safari/Mac);
- Reduced motion — we respect prefers-reduced-motion on every animation;
- Alt text — every meaningful image has descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt.
3. Audit history

| Dec 2025 | Internal QA + NVDA testing | 5 AA, 1 A | All fixed |

4. Currently open issues
We don't hide what we haven't fixed. As of this revision, three findings from our March 2026 audit are still open:
- Dosing calculator slider lacks aria-valuetext for some screen readers. Mitigation: announce the value as text below the slider. Fix planned: May 2026 release.
- COA lookup form has a non-WCAG-compliant focus indicator on Safari with high-contrast mode. Mitigation: alternate text-link to the same lookup. Fix planned: April 2026.
- Mobile mega-menu requires Esc to close on iOS VoiceOver. Mitigation: extra close button at top of menu. Fix planned: April 2026.
